Poetry is one of the oldest languages and still very popular today. 

It is how the friendship of myself LadyShanadoa and Captamblues began.

One day he randomly sent a poem to a few people on facebook,

I was on his facebook, a stranger he had added as a neighbour for a game we both played.

He had no idea I was also a poet until he received a mail back from me.

We shared poems each of us had written and discovered we both shared the same dream.

 The dream is to get our work into a published book which we are working on and it will be available for sale on here soon.

We both also love to share our poems and hope to reach people who connect with what we write and how better than through personalized poetry.

This is due to our locations, I am in England and he is in America.

On June 19th 2012 at 4-15am gmt  as the sun was rising in England I left my house to begin my journey to America to meet Captamblues.  For 22 months we had felt our friendship growing as we had spent hours talking pc to pc.  We felt it was time to take that next step into Reality.

There were no doubts in either of our minds as I crossed the Atlantic.

As every hour of my 26 hour journey passed it closed the gap between us.  The 8 hour time difference shrinking, it became the longest day of my life as I flew back through the time zones, 24 hours of daylight in one day.

Finally Touchdown and there he was waiting in the arrivals lounge.  There were no last minute nerves, we both knew what we had already felt was there as we shared our first hug.
